Es ist selten, daß Polizeibericht.ch über Sozialmißbrauch berichtet.

Dies liegt nicht etwa daran, daß dies in der Schweiz selten vorkommt. Im Gegenteil. Weltweit dürfte die Schweiz das Sozialhilfe-Mißbrauch-Land Nummer eins sein.

Es liegt schlichtweg nur daran, daß die Polizeistellen über Sozialmißbrauchsfälle keine Meldungen herausgeben. Warum das so ist, dazu erfahren Sie unter anderem im Verweis ganz unten mehr.

Seit vielen Jahren nun steht schon die Zürcher Sozialhilfe wegen wirklich exzessiver Steuergeldverschwendung massiv in der Kritik. Es kommen dennoch immer neue Fälle ans Tageslicht.

Die Weltwoche berichtet über einen weiteren schockierenden Mißbrauchsfall:

“Kürzlich stand eine 37jährige Roma-Frau aus Ungarn vor dem Richter, weil sie nach Berechnungen der Staatsanwaltschaft das Zürcher Sozialamt um rund 70′000 Franken betrogen hatte.

Als Puffmutter des Bordells “Sweet House” in Töß hatte die vermeintlich mittellose Fürsorgebezügerin in drei Monaten mindestens 15′000 Franken Gewinn erzielt. Wie sich im Verlauf der Untersuchung herausgestellte, hatte die Ungarin den Sozialarbeitern zudem Vermögenswerte in der Größenordnung von hunderttausend Franken verheimlicht.

Die Verteidigung verlangt einen Freispruch, weil die Frau gar nicht gewußt habe, daß man der Fürsorge Vermögen und Einkünfte nicht verheimlichen darf.

Noch ist das Urteil nicht gefällt. Doch es spielt auch keine große Rolle.

Zur Debatte steht ohnehin nur eine bedingte Geldstrafe. Wie die Erfahrung zeigt, bedeutet eine Verurteilung auch keineswegs, daß die Sozialhilfe automatisch gestrichen wird.” (Anm. d.
